Description
Wilderness First Responder is an advanced and comprehensive first aid training course aimed at everyone who travels off the beaten track whether on foot or in a vehicle. It is the international standard for adventure guides and outdoor professionals and those serious about preparedness and wilderness skills.
It is ideal training for adventure guides, geologists, farmers, game rangers and other professionals who work in the wilds and may end up in a situation where they need to take prolonged care of sick or injured clients or colleagues far from help. The course is also a good introduction to wilderness medicine for doctors, paramedics, nurses and other medical professionals who are new to wilderness and remote environment medicine.
Wilderness First Responder is an intense 80-hour learning experience packed with knowledge, hard skills and extensive simulation training to adequately prepare you for being the help in the wilderness.
